John W. Nisbet Ms

John W. Nisbet, MS, MBA has over 25 years of industry experience and is currently the Managing Principal & Partner at The Foresight Consulting Group. In this role, they provide strategic insights and financial strategy services to institutions in higher education, health sciences, and K-12.

Prior to this, John held positions at The Registry as a Member & Consultant and at CampusWorks, Inc. as a Senior Optimization Consultant.

From 2018 to 2022, John worked at Saint Leo University as the Vice President for Business Affairs & Chief Financial Officer. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing financial strategy, budgeting, and performance transformation.

Before joining Saint Leo University, John served as the Vice President for Finance & Chief Financial Officer at Creighton University from 2017 to 2018. In this role, they managed a large operating budget and provided leadership to over 2,000 employees across nine schools and colleges.

From 2013 to 2017, John worked at The Ohio State University, College of Arts & Sciences as the Chief Administrative Officer. John W. oversaw administrative operations, finance & accounting, procurement, and IT operations across 38 departments and directed a team of 3,600 employees.

Prior to this, John served as the Chief Operating Officer at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine from 2011 to 2013. John W. led the development of new business plans, financial analysis, and policy development.

Earlier in their career, John held positions at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and OhioHealth, where they gained experience managing shared services and leading operational financial modeling.

John's extensive work experience also includes roles at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine as a Laboratory Manager.

Throughout their career, John has demonstrated expertise in financial strategy, revenue growth, operational process improvement, and organizational design. John W. has a proven track record of fostering profitability and innovative thinking in large organizations and institutions.

John W. Nisbet, MS, MBA has a rich education history. John W. completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Corporate Finance from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. Prior to this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Molecular and Cellular Physiology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. John W.'sundergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Zoology/Animal Biology, which they obtained from The Ohio State University.

In addition to their academic achievements, John W. Nisbet also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from OhioHealth, which they obtained in 2006.
