Jayson Butt

Jayson Butt is an experienced operations professional with a background in gas turbine technology and plant operations. Currently serving as Operations Team Lead at CAMS since April 2022, Jayson has been involved in the start-up and commissioning of advanced gas turbines. Prior to this, Jayson held positions as Lead Plant Operator at NAES Corporation, Shift Supervisor at Cogentrix Energy, and various roles at Covanta, culminating in a Shift Supervisor position. Early career experience includes serving as Gas Turbine Technician 2nd Class in the US Navy, where Jayson operated and maintained critical equipment. Jayson is a certified Gas Turbine Technician and a high school graduate from Edison High in Lake Station, Indiana.
