Peter van Den Houten

Peter Van Den Houten is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the General Manager for Bergen/NJ Peaking Generating Stations at CAMS since February 2022. Prior to this role, Peter worked at PSEG from October 2010 to February 2022, holding various plant management positions that involved overseeing combined cycle and peaking power plants utilizing Siemens and GE technology, as well as managing a supercritical coal/gas fired steam asset. Peter has also held engineering positions at USG, including Assistant Chief Engineer, with responsibilities encompassing operations management and efficiency monitoring. Currently pursuing a Master of Legal Studies in Energy and Environmental Law at Texas A&M University School of Law, Peter holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Energy Systems Technology from Thomas Edison State University.
