Hemali has held positions in companies such as CAN Community Health, Chief, Care Resource Community Health Centers, Inc., OhioHealth, Letco Medical, Medco Health Solutions UK, Sanjay Bhatt Law Offices, American Kidney Stone Management Company, and Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Their most recent role was as the SVP, Chief Data Officer at CAN Community Health, where they oversaw and managed multiple business units including 340B, Data, Quality, EMR, IT, Insurance Assistance Program, and VBC. Hemali demonstrated a strong working knowledge of relevant regulatory guidance, worked with senior executives, and built rapport with employees at all levels. Hemali had an in-depth understanding of business objectives and successfully translated them into related business priorities. Hemali also had experience managing People Managers, developing and implementing business strategies, and ensuring programmatic output met quality and efficiency standards.

Hemali also gained experience as a Pharmacy Support employee at Medco Health Solutions UK and as a volunteer at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Hemali Joshi's education history begins in 2004 when they attended The Ohio State University. From 2004 to 2008, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Geographic Information Science and population health. During this time, they also minored in International Relations and Affairs.
In 2010, Hemali Joshi enrolled at The University of Toledo and pursued a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from 2010 to 2013. Their field of study within this degree focused on Pharmacy Administration and Pharmacy Policy and Regulatory Affairs. Additionally, they obtained a minor in Chemistry and another in Business Administration and Management.
Most recently, Hemali Joshi attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law from 2020 to 2021. During this period, they pursued a Master of Legal Studies degree, specializing in Healthcare Law.
