Alex Karayannopoulos started their work experience in 2013 as Head Boy at Crescent School. In 2014, they worked as a Camp Counselor at Bayview Glen. In 2015, they worked as a Research Analyst at Scotiabank, and in 2016, they worked as a Research and Trading Assistant at Clarus Securities Inc. From 2017 to 2018, Alex worked as a Sponsorships and Philanthropy Associate at Scotiabank, where they coordinated operational logistics, managed relationships, and tracked finances. In 2017, they also served as an Executive Orientation Leader at Ivey Business School. In 2018, they worked as a Business Analyst at Battery Mineral Resources Limited. Finally, Alex joined Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. in 2019, where they currently hold the position of Canadian Equity Sales and Institutional Equity Sales.

Alex Karayannopoulos completed their education in a chronological manner. First, from 2010 to 2014, they attended Crescent School and obtained a high school diploma. Alex then enrolled at Western University from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. During the same period, they also attended the Ivey Business School at Western University from 2016 to 2018 to pursue an HBA degree in Finance, General. Additionally, in July 2019, Alex Karayannopoulos obtained a certification in the Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI).
