Emre Turkmenler

Emre Turkmenler has a diverse work experience in the field of network engineering and security. Emre is currently working as a Senior Network Engineer at Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. since October 2019. Prior to this, they worked at IBTECH A.S. as a Network Security Engineer from July 2017 to July 2019. In this role, they were responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network security infrastructure, as well as providing support for release and deployment processes. Before that, Emre worked at BURGAN BANK A.S. as a Network Security Engineer from February 2011 to July 2017. In this role, they managed network and security devices, worked with various networking vendors, and supported application development and database management teams. Emre's earlier experience includes working at DorukNet as a Network Engineer from January 2007 to February 2011, where they diagnosed and resolved technical issues, administered and maintained networks, and implemented WAN/LAN/WLAN and Data Network. Emre also worked as a Helpdesk Technician at DorukNet from August 2004 to January 2007, providing technical support and installing and maintaining computer hardware and software.

Emre Turkmenler obtained their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering of Forestry from Istanbul University, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, they earned a certification as a Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) from Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. in September 2019.
