Kalinda Jessett

Kalinda Jessett has extensive experience in event planning and management. Kalinda began their career at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in 2010 as an Events Manager, where they developed strong skills in building and maintaining client relationships. Kalinda worked in this role until 2014. In 2014, Kalinda joined Invesco Canada as an Event Manager, where they continued to excel in event planning. Kalinda worked in this position until December 2020. In December 2020, Kalinda moved to Impact AV Solutions as a Senior Manager, Client Relations and Events, where they oversaw client relations and managed events. Kalinda stayed with Impact AV Solutions until August 2022. Currently, Kalinda is employed at Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. as a Senior Events and Experience Planner, and they will be promoted to the role of Senior Manager, National Events and Experience in August 2023.

Kalinda Jessett earned a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in Criminology from the University of Ottawa, where they attended from 2003 to 2007. Following that, they pursued a Masters of Public Affairs in Business and Economics from the University of Sydney, studying there from 2007 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Kalinda also obtained certifications in Virtual Event & Meeting Management from the Event Leadership Institute in September 2020, as well as the Cvent Event Management Advanced certification from Cvent in May 2020.
