Ken Openshaw

Enterprise Technology Project Manager at Canaccord Genuity

Ken Openshaw has extensive experience in project management and IT consulting. Ken started their career at the Bank of England in 1984 as an IT Consultant and Electronics Engineer, where they worked until 1996. From 1996 to 2000, they served as the Northern England IT/Engineering Manager at De La Rue. Ken then worked as an IT Consultant at Giesecke & Devrient from 2000 to 2002.

Afterwards, Openshaw took on several project management roles. Ken served as a Senior Project Manager at IBS OPEN Systems, UK from 2003 to 2006, overseeing large scale contracts for Housing Associations and Local Councils. In 2006, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at Open Solutions, where they managed a Group Credit Union Project across three provinces. Ken then transitioned to Omnirim, where they worked as a Senior Project Manager, focusing on project management of Records Management software installations. In 2007, they worked as an IT Consultant at CSI before joining CRI Canada as an Operations/Project Manager.

In 2008, Openshaw served as the VP of Client Services and Project Management at Aparc Systems before joining Canaccord Genuity as an Enterprise Technology Project Manager, where they are currently employed. Overall, Openshaw's work experience showcases their expertise in project management and IT consulting across various industries and sectors.

Ken Openshaw attended Harper Green High from 1968 to 1973. Ken then enrolled at Bolton Technical College from 1974 to 1976, where they studied Electronics & Telemetering Control. Later, from 1994 to 1998, Ken pursued a BSc degree at The Open University, majoring in I.T., Maths, and Electronics.
