Mike Tackett

Mike Tackett has over 15 years of experience in land-related work, currently serving as a Land Acquisition Specialist at CanACRE since June 2019. Previously, Mike held the position of Landman 2 at EQT from October 2014 to February 2016 and worked as a Land Agent at EQT Production Company from February 2007 to October 2014. Mike is certified in Arc GIS and proficient in various EQT software programs, including GIS, Land Manager, and Deed Plotter. With strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Mike has experience supervising and managing the workflow of landmen, conducting meetings, maintaining spreadsheets for lease and well data, and forecasting performance metrics. Mike obtained education at Pikeville College from 1993 to 1996.
