Ron Yeung

Head, Domestic & 3x3 Development at Canada Basketball

Ron Yeung has extensive experience in basketball development, currently serving as the Head of Domestic & 3x3 Development at Canada Basketball since February 2007, where responsibilities include the design and implementation of the Steve Nash Youth Basketball program, leading to significant growth in athlete participation across Canada. Additionally, from 2012 to present, Ron Yeung functions as a Coach Developer for the Coaches Association of Ontario, focusing on the training of sport coaches through the NCCP program. Prior experience includes a role as Coordinator of Community Development at MLSE from May 2000 to July 2006, where Ron managed and marketed various youth basketball development initiatives. Ron Yeung holds a degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, earned between 1997 and 2000.

Canada Basketball

Canada Basketball is the National Sporting Organization for the sport of Basketball in Canada. Canada Basketball represents all basketball interests, provides leadership, coordination and direction in all areas of the sport. Canada Basketball is a non-for-profit organization run by a volunteer board of directors and has a team of full-time professional staff members to run the affairs of the organization. Canada Basketball is recognized by the International Amateur Basketball Federation (FIBA) and the Government of Canada as the sole governing body of the sport of amateur basketball in Canada.
