Katie Turner currently serves as an Activator at Coralus, working within a global community focused on creating equitable and sustainable solutions. Since November 2014, Katie has been a GLI Steering Committee Member at the Canada Forum for Impact Investment and Development. Previously, from June 2007 to May 2021, Katie was the Senior Director of Global Programs at MEDA, where responsibilities included leading program initiatives across Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe, and Latin America/Caribbean, with oversight of an $80 million portfolio. Key accomplishments involved designing gender lens investment strategies and managing various blended finance projects. Katie's educational background includes a Post Graduate degree in International Development from Humber College and a BA (Hons) in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University.
