Shiemaa Ahmed

Shiemaa Ahmed is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in impact investment, social entrepreneurship, and organizational development. Currently serving as a Board Member at the Canada Forum for Impact Investment and Development (CAFIID), Shiemaa has previously held key positions such as Innovation Manager for Investments at Innovate UK Business Connect and Head of Operations at Valent Projects. As a Newton Scholar in the Newton Venture Program, Shiemaa focuses on increasing diversity in venture capital. Shiemaa's academic credentials include an MBA in Social Entrepreneurship from the University of Oxford and a Graduate Diploma in Development Planning from the University of Khartoum. A co-founder of Sudan Debates, Shiemaa has also worked with the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Center for Development and Public Policy, contributing significantly to research and analysis in various domains.
