Cheney Chen is a seasoned professional in building science and energy efficiency, currently serving as Co-Director of the Energy Lab and Senior Associate at Perkins&Will since February 2015. With extensive involvement in various committees, Cheney is a member of the Mirror Committees for ISO/TC 205 and ISO/TC 207/SC 4 & SC 7 through the Standards Council of Canada, focusing on indoor environments, energy conservation, and environmental management systems. Additional contributions include roles in the Canada Green Building Council as a Materials Technical Advisory Group Specialist, the National Research Council Canada as a member of a task group modifying the National Energy Code, and active participation in ASHRAE standard committees.
