Tushar Tangri

Tushar Tangri has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tushar started their career as a Student and Associate Lawyer at Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP in 2008, where they focused on intellectual property litigation. Their responsibilities included representing multinational innovator pharmaceutical companies in litigation cases related to protecting their IP and commercial rights against generic drug manufacturers. This involved appearing before both the Federal Court of Canada and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. Tushar worked at Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP until 2013.

In 2014, Tushar joined Forget Smith Morel as an Associate, where they continued to apply their legal expertise. After a year, they joined Desjardins in 2015 as a Senior Legal Counsel, a position they held until 2022.

Currently, Tushar is working as a Commercial Real Estate Finance Specialist at Canada ICI Capital Corporation, starting in 2022.

Tushar Tangri began their education in 2003 at the University of Ottawa, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry. Tushar studied in the institution for four years and completed their undergraduate studies in 2007. Following this, Tushar continued their academic journey at the University of Ottawa and enrolled in the LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) program. Tushar studied law for three years, graduating in 2010.
