Anna McCartney

Anna McCartney has extensive experience in the reinsurance industry. Anna started working at BMO Reinsurance Limited in 2008, where they served as a Financial Reporting Officer until 2012. Anna then became an Investment Analyst and later a Senior Manager, Accounting and Reporting in the same company until 2017.

In 2017, Anna joined Canada Life Reinsurance, where they held the position of Assistant Vice President - Life and Annuity until 2022. Anna then transitioned into the role of Senior Finance Manager - Life and Annuity, which they currently hold.

Anna McCartney's education history includes multiple qualifications in accounting and finance. Anna first attended Barbados Community College from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Accounting, Math, and Literature. Following that, they enrolled in The University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus from 2005 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Accounting. Anna then pursued further education at ACCA, where they obtained an ACCA degree in Accounting and Finance from 2009 to 2012. Lastly, in 2020, Anna completed a Certificate of Digital Innovation for Finance from ACCA.
