Brendan Kearney

Brendan Kearney has a comprehensive work experience in the insurance industry. Brendan is currently the President of Canada Life International Reinsurance Corporation Limited, starting in March 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at Canada Life Reinsurance, where they held various positions. From September 2021 onwards, they served as the Head of Reinsurance Pricing in Toronto. Before that, they were the Head of Traditional Life Pricing from July 2018 to September 2021. In July 2017, they held the position of Director, Life Reinsurance Pricing. Brendan joined Canada Life Reinsurance as a Manager of Pricing in August 2015 and continued in this role until June 2017. Brendan started their career with the company as a Pricing Actuary in August 2014, and prior to that, they were an Actuarial Trainee from June 2009 to July 2014. Before joining Canada Life, Brendan had a brief internship as an Actuarial Intern at Canada Life in 2008. Additionally, they gained experience as a Clerical Officer - Consumer Prices at CSO (Central Statistics Office) from June 2007 to August 2007.

Brendan Kearney completed their Leaving Certificate from Midleton CBS in the year 2005. Following this, they attended University College Dublin from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial & Financial Studies.
