Conor Browne

Conor Browne has a diverse range of work experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. Conor started their career as an Actuarial Intra Placement Student at Aviva Ireland in 2010. Conor then moved on to New Ireland Assurance, where they worked as an Actuarial Trainee from 2011 to 2014. During this time, they gained extensive experience in life insurance pricing and investment products.

In 2015, Browne joined Suncorp Group as a Product Analyst, focusing on group income protection and group life insurance pricing. After four months, they transitioned to Munich Re (Group) and worked as a Data Actuary for a short period in 2015.

In 2016, Browne joined Canada Life Reinsurance, where they have held two key roles. Conor started as a Pricing Actuary, specializing in structured reinsurance pricing for both long and short tail transactions. Their responsibilities included optimizing capital through longevity, lapse, and mortality solutions. In 2021, they were promoted to the position of P&C Pricing Manager, where they continue to contribute their expertise in reinsurance pricing.

Conor Browne completed their Leaving Certificate at Ardscoil Ris from 2002 to 2007. Conor then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial and Financial Studies at University College Dublin from 2007 to 2011.
