Stephen Plaunt

Stephen Plaunt, CPA, CA, CMA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Finance Decision Support at Canada Post / Postes Canada since 2011, Stephen has previously held positions including Manager of Financial Analysis & Reporting and Manager of Financial Communication & Disclosure within the same company. Prior to this, Stephen was the Chief Internal Auditor at MD Physician Services Inc. and held various positions there, including Senior Internal Auditor and Manager of Corporate Accounting. Additional experience includes managerial roles at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton and Hein & Company, Chartered Accountants, as well as pivotal positions at Stentor Canadian Network Management and KPMG. Stephen began career in finance as a Sales Analyst at the Ottawa Rough Riders and as MIS Hardware Support at Corel Corporation. Stephen holds a BComm in Accounting from the University of Ottawa and is a member of both the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Certified Management Accountants of Canada.
