Alison James

Alison James currently serves in a Technology Transformation role at Canada Life since September 2024. Prior to this position, Alison James held various senior leadership roles at CIBC from September 2010 to September 2024, including Senior Vice President of Enterprise Payments and President of INTRIA, as well as Senior Vice President of Technology Operations. Additional experience includes serving as Vice President of Cards, Pega, and Client Account Management Technology, and Vice President of Infrastructure Client Services. Earlier in the career at Canadian Tire Corporation from April 2007 to September 2010, Alison James was Vice President of Infrastructure Operations and Director of Retail Systems, with prior experience as Director of Business Consulting at Canadian Tire from 2005 to 2007. Alison James holds an MBA from Ivey Business School at Western University and a BA from Brock University.
