Gabriel C.

Gabriel C. currently serves as the General Manager of the Hong Kong Office at Canada Life, having transitioned into this role in June 2024. Prior experience includes serving as the Senior Vice President of Strategy at Great-West Lifeco Inc from 2013 to June 2024, where Gabriel C. reported directly to the global CFO and was a member of both Canada’s Extended Management Team and Great-West Lifeco’s AI Advisory Council. Prior to that, Gabriel C. held the position of Vice President, Head of Strategy at Direct Energy from 2007 to 2012, leading the Corporate Strategy team and supporting corporate strategic planning. Earlier career stages included roles at Bain & Company as a Management Consultant and at McCague Borlack LLP as a litigation lawyer. Gabriel C. holds a JD from Western University and a BSc in Molecular Genetics & Molecular Biology from the University of Toronto.
