Urooj K. has extensive experience in technology strategy and transformation within the financial services industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Technology Strategy at Canada Life since 2021, Urooj has previously held key roles at PwC Canada, Symcor, TD, BMO Financial Group, Deloitte Consulting, RBC Royal Bank, and IBM. Urooj’s accomplishments include driving significant revenue growth and strategic direction at Symcor, overseeing a $4B project portfolio at TD, and leading M&A IT advisory at Deloitte. Urooj holds an Honours B.Sc in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Toronto, a CPA designation, and an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the Schulich School of Business.
