Walid El Horr

Walid El Horr has extensive experience in the field of Salesforce, holding various roles in different companies. Walid is currently working at Canada Life as a Principal Salesforce Engineer. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Salesforce Technical Lead at the same company and as a Salesforce Developer. Before joining Canada Life, they were a Salesforce Consultant / Developer at KeJo Solutions from 2017 to 2020. Their career in Salesforce started in 2006 at MDS for Computer Systems - Midis Group, where they held roles such as Salesforce Administrator, Analyst, and Developer. Walid was responsible for various tasks including configuring security, creating user training plans, providing day-to-day support, and managing Salesforce data. Additionally, they served as a Salesforce mentor, led the Riyadh Salesforce User Group, and authored a Salesforce blog and online course.

Walid El Horr obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the American University of Beirut, which they completed between 2000 and 2003. Walid pursued further education and earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Lebanese American University from 2003 to 2006. Prior to their university studies, Walid completed their French Baccalaureate at Lycée Franco-Libanais.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Walid has acquired several certifications in the field of Salesforce. Walid also holds certifications from Jitterbit and Oracle, specifically Jitterbit Core Certification, Jitterbit Foundations Certification, and Java SE 8 Programmer I. Moreover, Walid is a NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer - Data Protection Specialist (NCIE-DP).
