Raymond Sia

Raymond Sia has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Raymond began their career at Public Bank in 1994 as the Head of Credit Processing and stayed there until 2004. Raymond then moved on to Usaha Tegas Sdn Bhd, where they worked as the Manager of Treasury from 2005 to 2008. In 2008, they joined Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia and held various roles, including Director of Local Corporates, Origination & Client Coverage, and Head of Client Coverage, until 2011. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Standard Chartered Bank (Vietnam) Limited, where they served as the Head of Global Corporates, General Director/CEO, and Executive Director of SME Banking. Raymond then joined Hong Leong Bank Vietnam in 2015 as the Managing Director/CEO and briefly served as the Chief Operating Officer before leaving in early 2018. In the same year, they became the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Board Director of Canadia Bank, as well as the Chairman of Cana Securities, a subsidiary of Canadia Bank. In 2020, they took on the roles of Director on the Board of Directors for Credit Bureau Cambodia and Chairman of the Board for Credit Bureau Holding (Cambodia) Ltd. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Chairman of the Association of Banks in Cambodia.

Raymond Sia pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at Monash University from 1993 to 1994.
