Kate Southwell

Kate Southwell is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in regulatory law and corporate litigation. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel in the telecommunications regulatory team at Bell since July 2019, Kate provides strategic advice and ensures compliance with complex regulatory obligations. In addition, Kate holds a position as Legal Counsel and Director on the Board of Canadian Administrator of VRS (CAV), Inc., where efforts focus on the governance and operational oversight of Video Relay Service across Canada. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate at DLA Piper (Canada) LLP, where Kate specialized in corporate and commercial litigation, and foundational roles as a summer and articling student. Kate earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor's Degree with Distinction from the University of Windsor.
