Sadiqur Khan

Sadiqur Khan has over 28 years of work experience in the field of information technology and networking. Sadiqur is currently the Director - Network and Voice, Information Technology at CAPREIT since June 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Cogeco Connexion for 7 years as the Manager of IT Infrastructure Operations, where they achieved significant results in reducing major incidents, increasing employee engagement, and improving infrastructure reliability. Sadiqur also has experience working at Research In Motion (now BlackBerry) as a Technical Manager and Team Lead, where they played a key role in coaching and mentoring team members and improving network efficiency. Before that, they worked as a Technical Consultant / Network Engineer at ASKE Technologies Canada, where they gained experience in Cisco equipment configuration and troubleshooting. Sadiqur started their career at Etisalat, the largest telecom service provider in the Middle East and Africa, where they held various roles related to data services and network engineering. Sadiqur also worked at the Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited as an Assistant Divisional Engineer and at the Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology as a Lecturer/Instructor. Sadiqur has a strong background in LAN/WAN infrastructure, network management, and telecommunications.

Sadiqur Khan earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 1988. Sadiqur then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the same university, completing it in 1992.
