Daniel Ouimet is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in government relations and corporate engagement. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Government Relations at the Canadian Bankers Association since June 2022, Daniel has previously held significant roles, including Senior Vice President at Futurpreneur Canada and Chief of Staff at the Ontario Ministry of Research, Innovation & Science. Daniel's background includes leadership positions in both the public and private sectors, exemplified by their tenure as Director of Government Relations at ConocoPhillips and their role as Founder and Event Director of the Viterra Ironman 70.3 Calgary. Daniel holds dual MBA degrees from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and Schulich School of Business, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Psychology from the University of Calgary.
