Martine Ruest has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Martine started their career as a Gérante de terminal - de région at Lagardère Travel Retail from March 2008 to April 2011. Following that, they worked as a Gestionnaire at Groupe Jean Coutu from July 2012 to December 2015. In 2016, Martine joined Héma-Québec as a Gestionnaire, where they were responsible for administrative management, budgeting, scheduling, organizing collections, managing non-compliance issues, customer service, personnel management, recruitment and training, donor recruitment, and blood product supervision. Most recently, Martine is working at Canadian Blood Services as an Ottawa Plasma Centre Manager from July 2021 to June 2023 and then as an Associate Director, Plasma Operations starting from June 2023.
Martine Ruest completed their Baccalauréat in Sciences de la nutrition at Université de Montréal from 1995 to 1999. Martine then pursued a Maîtrise in Marketing at HEC Montréal starting in 2000.
