Samantha Somers

Samantha Somers is a seasoned professional in strategic advisory and project management, currently serving as a Strategic Advisor to the CFO at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research since August 2023. Previously, Samantha held roles including Issues Manager for Resettlement Policy at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and Manager of Governance and Administration at Public Services and Procurement Canada. With extensive experience at Canada Border Services Agency in various strategic and advisory capacities, along with positions at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat and the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Samantha has demonstrated proficiency in governance and project management. Samantha holds a BA in English from Carleton University and has pursued further education at Ryerson University and Concordia University.
