Debbie Soares

Debbie Soares is an experienced professional with a diverse career spanning various roles in education, legal assistance, and marketing. Currently serving as an Educator at Voxy since April 2023, Debbie also has an extensive tenure as an English Teacher at DaDa, beginning in March 2017. Since January 2014, Debbie has contributed to the Canadian Cancer Society as Executive Assistant to the VP of Development & Marketing. Previous experience includes roles as Marketing and Communications Coordinator at the Midwives Association of BC, Assistant Film Editor at Room to Read, and Legal Assistant positions at both Ellis Roadburg and Lawson Lundell LLP. Areas of specialization involve shareholder remedies, trust, pension and fiduciary disputes, securities and transactional litigation, mining disputes, and real estate litigation. Debbie is an alumna of The University of British Columbia.
