Guntaas Kaur

Guntaas Kaur is a dedicated student researcher at the University of Toronto since July 2018, focusing on cytokinin functions in Arabidopsis thaliana mutants. In addition to academic pursuits, Guntaas serves as the Manager of Events at the Canadian Cancer Society, where leadership is demonstrated in organizing large-scale events like the Relay for Life in Kingston, Ontario. Prior experience includes roles as a Library Assistant at Kingston Frontenac Public Library, where community engagement is prioritized, and as Webinar Coordinator for STEM Fellowship, facilitating connections between high school students and STEM opportunities. Guntaas also contributed as a Webinar Presenter for Clinical Research Webinars and as a Student Author for DeltaPonics. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Health Science at Queen's University, Guntaas has a background enriched by the SHAD Canada program.
