Sara Oates

Sara is the Executive Vice President of Finance, People, and Operations at the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS). She joined CCS after the merger with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation in 2017, where she was Chief Finance and Operations Officer. In her current role, she leads the organization's finance, people, culture and inclusion, facilities, and administration teams.

Prior to CCS, Sara held leadership roles at international not-for-profit and for-profit organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in French and History from the University of Leeds and has earned her Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA, CA) and Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA UK) designations.
