Scotty Mars has a diverse work experience in various roles in the media and communication industry. Scotty started their career in 2010 as an Afternoon Drive Host at The Evanov Radio Group and later worked as an Assistant Brand Director and On-Air Host at Astral Media Inc. In 2013, they joined Newcap Radio as an On-Air Host and later became the Music Director and Afternoon Drive Host. From 2016 to 2018, Scotty Mars served as a Morning Show Host at Evanov Radio Group. In 2018, they worked as a Store Manager at Popeye's Supplements Canada and also started their own podcast called The Scotty Mars Show Podcast. Scotty then joined Site 2020 as a Deployment Specialist, where they provided technical assistance and troubleshooting, on-site repairs, and aided with marketing and training programs. In 2021, they became the Communications Lead at the Canadian Cancer Society. Currently, Scotty Mars works as a Content Director and On Air at Rogers Sports & Media.

Scotty Mars attended ABI from 1996 to 1997, where they obtained a degree in Broadcasting with a focus on Communication and Media Studies.

After that, they enrolled at St. Mary's University from 1998 to 2002, where they pursued a field of study in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management. However, it is not specified whether they obtained a degree in this field.
