Procurement Champion With The Canadian Council Of Aboriginal Business at Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business

Melissa Hardy-Giles serves as a Board Director for the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and has held the position of Chief Executive Officer at ORIGIN since December 2008, where a focus on innovation and engagement with the future workforce is emphasized. As a Procurement Champion with the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business since June 2016, ORIGIN notably became the first Indigenous Procurement Champions within this organization. Melissa is also involved with Elle-iance Thunder Bay and previously participated in the SheEO™ initiative, which supports women-led ventures. Past roles include serving on the Board of Directors for the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce and Frontier College, as well as participating in the Anti-Racism Accord for the City of Thunder Bay.
