Natalie Adams

Director, Supply Change at Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business

Natalie has over 10 years of private and public sector experience. Most recently, she provided leadership on the development of sustainable procurement practices and policies for the City of Mississauga receiving both the City Manager Award of Excellence and the Sustainable Procurement Leadership Council (SPLC) Outstanding Case Study Award for implementing Sustainable Procurement in the Public Sector.

Prior to that, Natalie worked in the private sector where she led the PAR accreditation process, ensured engagement with local Indigenous communities, drove Indigenous spend targets and led the cultural awareness program for a large international construction company. She is a trained Innovation Coach, Facilitator and Change Manager with a passion for socially conscious procurement, collaborative solutions and fostering relationships.

Natalie left her Nova Scotian roots 25 years ago to attend school in the big City of Toronto and is still residing there with her two teenage sons. Most weekends, you will find the three of them (and her bulldog) on a rugby pitch somewhere. (Unless it’s snowing in which case, she is close to a fireplace, a blanket, and a book.)
