Luc Fortin

Luc Fortin, ICD.D, currently serves as the President and CEO of TMX Group and Global Head of Trading, a position held since June 2016. In addition to leadership roles at TMX, Luc Fortin has been a Board Director at multiple organizations including CIRO/OCRI, Shorcan Brokers Limited, The Canadian Depository for Securities Limited (CDS), BOX Options Market LLC, BOX Holdings Group LLC, and the Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation (CDCC) since 2016. Luc Fortin also holds a position as a member of the Governor's Assembly at Finance Montréal since 2016. Prior to these roles, Luc Fortin was a Managing Director at HSBC Global Banking and Markets from April 2011 to May 2016 and at TD Securities from June 1987 to October 2010. Luc Fortin earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa and is accredited as ICD.D by the Institute of Corporate Directors.
