Carly Beath

Carly Beath is an experienced leader in development and public sector funding within the arts and media sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Development at the Canadian Film Centre since May 2024, Carly previously held multiple roles at Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival, including Director of Public Sector and Foundations and Interim Director of Public Sector and Strategic Partnerships. Carly has extensive experience in public sector funding, government relations, and corporate partnerships, with prior positions at Interactive Ontario and various music industry roles that include an Independent Music Professional and Operations Manager at MapleMusic.com. Carly's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University and a diploma in Audio Producing/Engineering from Harris Institute.
