Cheryl Hudson

Co-Vice Chair at Canadian Film Centre

Cheryl Hudson is a visionary leader with experience in global philanthropy, combined with an impressive record of accomplishments in both the Corporate and the Not-for-Profit sectors.

As Managing Partner, Strategic Philanthropy, Cheryl collaborates with the firm’s clients in designing effective philanthropic strategies that shift from short-term, less meaningful charitable giving to sustained, focused and high impact philanthropy. In addition to her role with the firm, she serves as the Executive Director of the Michael and Karen Vukets Family Foundation.

Previously, the Director, Corporate Engagement for World Vision Canada, some of her accomplishments include negotiating global corporate engagements with Barrick Gold and Centerra Gold. Cheryl also enjoyed a 10-year career in senior management at TD Bank Financial Group. She is a frequent speaker on strategic philanthropic issues across Canada, and is committed to working with Canadian families to transform lives and magnify philanthropic impact through strategic giving.

Cheryl is on the Board of Directors for The Art of Time, Media Voice Generation, and Dignitas International. She is a volunteer on the fundraising committee for the Ontario Friends For The Canadian Museum For Human Rights. She was a member of the 2015 Vital Ideas Selection Committee for the Toronto Foundation.

She and her husband Michael reside in Oakville.
