Maria Bykina

Maria Bykina is an accomplished editor with a diverse range of experience in the film and video production industry. Currently serving as an Editor's Lab Resident at the Canadian Film Centre and a Trainee Assistant Picture Editor at the Directors Guild of Canada - Ontario, Maria has developed a strong skill set in post-production. Previous roles include Editor at Archipelago Productions, where collaboration with the post-production team led to the successful editing of branded content and sizzle reels. Additional experience includes video editing for educational campaigns at Captains & Poets and project contributions at Blue Ant Media, where notable projects included editing promotional content for social media. Maria's early career at FABLUNCH INC involved significant responsibilities in video editing and brand collaboration, greatly enhancing the channel's content output. Maria holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ryerson University.
