Brian Desjarlais, P.Eng. is an experienced statistician and engineer with a diverse career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Game Day Statistician (Crew Chief) for the Canadian Football League since 1993, Brian is responsible for entering real-time play-by-play statistics, verifying IT setups, and distributing post-game stats. Brian also worked as a Consultant Statistician for the Edmonton Eskimo Football Club from 2000 to 2024, contributing to the CFL Game Notes Report. Prior experience includes senior roles at ATCO Electric, where responsibilities ranged from account management for industrial projects to pricing engineering, and as a Transportation Engineer at Stantec. Brian's early career included support roles with the City of Edmonton focusing on transportation data and modeling. Brian holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta.

Canadian Football League
