Lucas Barrett has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and public affairs. Lucas started their career as a Communications Intern at the Canadian Football League in 2013, where they were responsible for distributing media clippings, publishing releases, and managing social media accounts. Lucas then worked at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment as a Media Relations Intern for the Toronto Maple Leafs, collecting and distributing media clips, and creating media passes. Lucas also gained experience in event management as an Event Intern for the MLS Cup and as a Photography Coordinator for the Media Committee: World Junior Championship. Lucas later served as the Social Media Lead for Hockey Canada during the 2017 World Junior Hockey Championship. Lucas joined the Canadian Football League again in various roles, including Coordinator and Manager of Communications and Public Affairs, Senior Director, and Associate Vice President. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated skills in writing and publishing releases, managing social media channels, coordinating media events, and handling media requests.

Lucas Barrett attended Durham College from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a degree in Sport Administration and Management.

Canadian Football League
