CANADIAN GRAIN COMMISSION
Michelle Holigroski is a Research Biologist with extensive experience in grain biotechnology research, currently employed at the Canadian Grain Commission since April 2010. In this role, Michelle specializes in ISO 17025 accredited GMO testing of various crops using advanced Polymerase Chain Reaction techniques and has contributed to achieving ISO 17025 accreditation. Previous positions include Molecular Biology Technician at the Public Health Agency of Canada, where ISO accredited diagnostic testing for viral diseases was performed, and a Technician role at St. Boniface Research Centre focusing on probiotics and Clostridium difficile. Earlier experience includes quality control testing at Cangene Corporation for vaccine purity and potency. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a focus on Microbiology from The University of Winnipeg.
