Maria Mizzi

Maria Mizzi, MSW, RSW, has extensive experience in mental health and addiction counseling, currently serving as a Connect Mental Health Counsellor at the Canadian Hearing Society since January 2017. Maria also acts as a Field Instructor and Practicum Supervisor at the University of Toronto, a role held since September 2018 and previously from September 2014 to December 2016. Prior experience includes working as an Addictions and Concurrent Disorders Counsellor at The Salvation Army's Toronto Harbour Light Ministries and serving in various internships and supervisory roles at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, The Stop Community Food Centre, and Parkdale Community Information Centre. Maria holds a Master of Social Work with a focus on Mental Health and Health from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Social Work with Honours from Ryerson University, complemented by a minor in Psychology.
