John-Patrick (JP) Udo is a seasoned advancement writing specialist, currently serving as the Senior Advancement Writing Specialist at CIFAR since February 2021, where skills in crafting multi-million dollar funding proposals and donor-centric communications are utilized. Prior experience includes roles as Communications Specialist at The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, where donor impact narratives were created, and as Strategic Writer/Communications Specialist at Heart and Stroke, where various high-stakes communications for leadership were developed. JP's background also encompasses experience in grant applications and project management at Ryerson University, coupled with a strong academic foundation, including a Master’s degree in Communication and Culture from Toronto Metropolitan University and a certificate in Adult Training & Development from the University of Toronto.
