Cheryl Gula

Director, Thematic Priorities at Canadian Institute For Health Information

As the director of Thematic Priorities, Cheryl Gula is responsible for providing the vision and strategic leadership for initiatives related to CIHI’s new thematic priorities and ensuring their successful execution.

Ms. Gula has worked in health care for more than 20 years. Prior to joining CIHI in 2001, she worked in epidemiology and surveillance at Canadian Blood Services and carried out research at Defence Research and Development Canada.

Ms. Gula has a Master of Arts in applied psychology from the University of Guelph and an undergraduate degree in social psychology from the University of Waterloo.
