Alannah Brown, MPH, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public health and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor to the Associate Vice-President at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research since December 2014, Alannah leads significant projects aimed at enhancing CIHR's systems and processes while managing a team of analysts and senior program officers. Previous roles at CIHR include Business Analyst, where contributions focused on delivering technical solutions, and Project Officer, providing support for key public health initiatives. Alannah's experience also encompasses a Research Coordinator position at the University of Ottawa, along with research roles at The Wellesley Institute, Propel Centre for Population Health Impact, and as a Summer Research Student at CIHR. Alannah holds a Master of Public Health from The University of Edinburgh and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies from the University of Toronto.
