Alexis Fong, Ph.D., currently serves as the Lead for Major Initiatives in Anti-Microbial Resistance Research at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, a position held since April 2023. In addition, Alexis is a part-time professor in Infectious Diseases and Cell Biology at Laurentian University, where teaching contributions began in August 2022. Prior roles include Manager of Corporate Writing at Collège Boréal and various part-time professorships at Laurentian University, covering subjects such as Project Management and Human Physiology. Alexis has prior experience as a Research Facilitator at Health Sciences North Research Institute. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Biological and Biomedical Sciences, both from Laurentian University.
