Andrew McColgan

Andrew McColgan has extensive experience in strategic communications and public affairs within the health research sector, currently serving as Lead, Strategic Communications at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research since November 2007. Prior to this role, Andrew held positions as Senior Public Affairs Advisor in Ministerial and Government Relations and Senior Policy Advisor in Corporate Planning and Policy at the same institution. Andrew’s career also includes experience as Manager of Policy and Public Affairs and Associate in Government Relations at BIOTECanada from 1997 to 2003. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry (Honours) from the University of Ottawa between 1992 and 1996.
