Daniel Hartig

Daniel Hartig is an experienced music educator and K-12 Music Coordinator at Canadian International School in Singapore since July 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing the K-12 Music department, enhancing performance ensembles, managing instrumental and vocal lessons, and establishing external partnerships. Prior to this role, Daniel served as an IB Music Teacher at Pine Street School, developing an IB PYP and MYP music curriculum and teaching various specialized classes. Daniel also owned Hartig Music, offering private and group instrument lessons and after-school programs. Additional experiences include curriculum development at Teachers College, Columbia University, guest teaching for the New York Philharmonic, and serving as a student teacher in elementary and middle schools. Daniel holds a Master of Arts in Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from the University of the Arts.
