Deanna V. Young is a seasoned governance professional with extensive experience in corporate administration and legal affairs. Currently serving as a Governance Analyst at CIRA since March 2023, Deanna has held significant roles including Executive Manager at the Canadian Construction Association from April to November 2022, and Corporate Secretary & Office Manager at the Association of Canadian Port Authorities from July 2021 to April 2022. Previous experience includes serving as Corporate Secretary at the Canadian Nurses Protective Society from August 2017 to July 2021 and multiple positions as Corporate Law Clerk at renowned law firms such as Mann Lawyers LLP, Nelligan O'Brien Payne LLP, Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP, and Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP. Deanna holds a Bachelor's degree in Classical History from the University of Guelph and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Corporate Legal Administration from Seneca Polytechnic.
