Tara Hogeterp is an experienced professional with a diverse background in communications, operations, and political advisory roles. Currently serving as Executive Assistant to the President at the Canadian Labour Congress since June 2023, Tara has previously held positions as Operations Manager and Communications Support at the Global Fund Advocates Network, and Spokesperson and Steering Committee Member for DOORS to Canada, where responsibilities included sponsoring refugee families and media engagement. With extensive experience in the House of Commons, Tara worked as a Political and Media Advisor for multiple Members of Parliament, managing portfolios and communications. Additionally, Tara has contributed to various educational and community organizations in leadership roles, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education with Magna Cum Laude honors from the University of Ottawa, an M.A. in Mass Communication from Carleton University, and a B.A. in Media Information and Technoculture from Western University.
